Who we are....
We are a group of Oregonians who like to walk....a lot! We create and staff walks around the Beaverton, Hillsboro, Cornelius, Forest Grove areas and even occasionally create walks in places like the Banks-Vernonia State Trail and Tillamook State Forest, even out in Eastern Oregon. We belong to the AVA (American Volkssport Association).
When we aren't putting together one of our walks, we travel around the state (and beyond) to participate in other clubs' walks. Come and join us...all are welcome!
More Information!
We belong to the Walking Oregon and Southwest Washington Meetup Group where you can find out about our upcoming events as well as events organized by other clubs in the area.

What are Volkssports?
These activities were developed in Germany..the "volks" is German for people, thus they are people sports. The primary activity is walking, though there are sometimes bike events, swim events, snowshoe events, ski events, even some canoeing, and kayaking....but mostly you'll find us walking!
